ACCOMMODATIONS

THE LODGE

We’ve come a long way from the ‘wall tent and camper days’! Our accommodations now consist of a modest, clean and comfortable 6 bedroom 2 ½ bath, two-story lodge about 40 minutes from Gillette, Wyoming.  It is centrally located between our leased ranches, making for a short ride to your hunting destination. Although the home is located off a well- maintained, gravel road, we still recommend a 4-wheel drive vehicle if you are driving to the ranch.

The lodge is equipped with a full kitchen, electricity, heat, hot water and even a pellet stove for those cold Wyoming nights.  For your comfort and convenience, we provide fresh clean bedding, towels, linens and even extra blankets. Although many of the hunters do not remove their shoes while in the house, Amy suggests bringing slippers or ‘house shoes’ to avoid tracking mud and dirt throughout her kitchen.

THE MEALS

Before heading out for your early morning hunt, you will rise to freshly brewed coffee and a quick ‘continental breakfast’, which includes hot or cold cereal, fruit, rolls, muffins, etc.  Upon returning mid-morning (9 or 10am) we sit down together to enjoy a hearty homemade breakfast/brunch. The menu varies from day to day, but rest assured, you will not leave hungry! Since every hunter has a different daily hunt schedule, we do not have a “formal lunch”.  If you are spending your day in the field or in a blind, we will send you out with a sack lunch - sandwich, water and plenty of snacks. For those who may be at camp, we offer a light lunch - crackers, cheese, soups, sandwiches, leftovers, a variety of snacks, and lots of homemade cookies!  We like to eat dinner early - before your evening hunt (3:30 or 4pm). This is a big, homemade, sit-down meal.

One of the best parts of the evening is sitting around the table sharing hunting stories and there is no better way to do that than over a delicious dessert! Once all the hunters get in (7 or 8pm), it’s dessert time! Cake, pie, ice-cream sundaes, cookies, pastries and every other goodie will be served!

We realize that you may have a restrictive diet, and we want to accommodate; so PLEASE do not hesitate to tell the cook of your special diet needs. Top of Form
