WHAT TO BRING

HUNTING LICENSE:

A valid hunting license must always be carried with the hunter while in the field. Any hunter utilizing the services of an outfitter shall legibly print the name of the outfitter, the outfitter’s license number and the type of outfitter license on the back of the licensee’s big or trophy game license.

ARCHERY PERMIT:

No person shall hunt big game or trophy game animals with archery equipment during a special archery hunting season without first obtaining an archery license and the applicable hunting license.

CONSERVATION STAMP:

Each person licensed to hunt or fish in Wyoming shall purchase one (1) conservation stamp for $12.50, valid for the calendar year.

The stamp shall be in the possession of the person while hunting. If a physical paper stamp is purchased, it shall be signed in ink. Hunters or anglers who acquire a lifetime conservation stamp or a conservation stamp authorization from the Department’s electronic license service system shall not be required to meet the signature provision on a physical stamp as no physical stamp will be issued.

Conservation stamps may be purchased from the Cheyenne Headquarters Office, Department Regional Offices, and license selling agents and on the Department website.
